CEO Multichoice, Nigeria, John Ugbe, has revealed how much the production of Big Brother Naija reality show cost and reason why they keep on investing in it.
John Ugbe made the disclosure on official twitter page of DSTV Nigeria.
Ugbe noted that the company will continue investing in the reality show ‘even in toughest times’ to ensure viewers’ happiness.

Ugbe had in July announced that the winner for the ‘Lockdown’ edition will walk away with N85 million grand prize, the biggest since its debut back in 2006.
The breakdown of the grand prize includes N30m cash prize; a two-bedroom apartment courtesy Revolution Plus; a top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; home appliances courtesy Scanfrost; a trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, a branded chiller and a trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; and a brand new Oppo mobile smartphone.
