Beware: Scammers use the COVID-19 epidermic to dupe Nigerians

There is a rumor trending on several social media platforms that the Nigerian Federal Government with respect to the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 epidermic, agreed upon and signed a decree that every working citizen of the nation should paid the total sum of 8,500 naira so they could stay home within this one month National lockdown.
Its gone viral that the payment would take effect from 30th March, 2020 and that every citizen who has the following documents, should apply for his/her share of the money:
1) Voter’s or National ID card
2) National Identification Number (NIN)
3) Bank Verification Number (BVN)
You’ll be asked to post the above listed details to a site and you’ll get your money (#8,500).
Note: This is a means, devised by scammers to rob people because they’ll have undenied access to your account details once they get all these information from you.
BE WARNED. DON’T SEND YOUR DETAILS TO ANY SITE!!
