Governor Okowa, Gets Another Four Years
The inauguration ceremony was more like a carnival and Stephen Keshi Stadium, the venue of the event recorded an overflow of people with showers of encomiums on the Governor for his good works.
“My fellow Deltans! The oath of office that I took today, represents more than just an official function or a constitutional requirement. It is a covenant between us to build a Stronger Delta where everyone can pursue their dreams freely” Gov. Okowa said.
Honestly, when he took his oath of office 4-years ago, things were generally in abysmal shape, the national economy was in distress, unemployment was high, and there was palpable despair in the land but it took him hard work and preparedness to deliver the prosperity that he promised.
We sincerely wish him the best, as he paddles the canoe for the next four years to build a Stronger Delta.
