Former Chief of Defence Staff, Alex Badeh, will be buried on January 23, Defence Headquarters has announced.
Acting Director of Defence Information, John Agim, made the announcement in a statement on Friday.
He said that activities lined-up for the interment of late badeh will begin on January 20 with the Service of Songs scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Air Force Base Protestant Church in Abuja.
Agim also disclosed that this would be followed by a church service expected to hold at the same venue on January 23.
The former defence chief would then be laid to rest later in the afternoon on January 23 at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
Badeh was shot dead on December 18 while returning from his farm along Abuja-Keffi Road.
