Nwajuba Joins APC twenty-four hours after nomination as Minister.

Hon. Emeka Nwajuba has defected to All Progressive Congress (APC), twenty-four hours after his nomination as Minister of Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Nwajuma is currently representing Ehime Mbano/Ihite Uboma/Obowo federal constituency in the state was a member of Accord party.
Nwajiuba’s defection was contained in a letter read on Wednesday, July 24 on the floor of the House during plenary by the presiding deputy speaker, Ahmed Idris Wase.
The Imo lawmaker was recently the beneficiary of a court verdict that ousted his predecessor, Chike Okafor of the APC.
The court held that Okafor was not validly nominated by the APC.
Until his defection to Accord, however, Nwajiuba, who represents Ehime Mbano/Ihite Uboma/Obowo federal constituency of Imo state, was of the APC.
