Thank you! #OniruCoronation2020 #Repost @jidesanwoolu • • • • • • At the coronation reception of HRH Oba Omogbolahan Lawal today, I was ably represented by Deputy Governor, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat who expressed my absolute confidence in the Oniru's ability to bring about a transformation that will benefit everyone in Iruland. During the installation ceremony in June, I enjoined the Oniru to strengthen the existing bond of unity within Iruland for the overall development of peace and progress of the kingdom. Two months on the throne and I’m pleased to note that the monarch took this advice to heart, as traditional institutions are indispensable branches of the Yoruba society. The socio-economic growth witnessed in Iru kingdom in the last two decades has contributed in no small measure to the development of Lagos. I look forward to more rewarding development activities in Iru land, and I hereby encourage citizens to rally round the Oniru, and stand firm behind him, and most importantly maintain peace in order to achieve his outlined objectives.

The former governor of Lagos state, his excellency Bola Hammed Tinubu also graced the occasion.

Other dignitaries at the colorful events include the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Joke Sanwo Olu, Erelu Abiola Dosunmu, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, members of the state executive council, members of the State House of Assembly, former and the serving members of the National Assembly, Muslims and Christians clerics among others.
