#TarabaKillings – Family of slain police officer addresses press, demands justice.

The family of one of the slain police officers in Taraba is demanding justice in the murder of their brother and husband.

The Philips-Ediale family made this demand at a press briefing in Abuja

Inspector Mark Philips-Ediale was one of the 5 officers killed by soldiers in the line of duty in Taraba while on a mission to arrest person alleged to be one of the most notorious kidnappers in the state

The death of these officers has attracted condemnation from well meaning Nigerians as it leaves many questions unanswered.

Why did soldiers killed the police officers?

Why was the alleged kidnapper who was arrested by these officers, released?

Some of these questions are also being raised by the family of Inspector Mark Ediale as they demand justice be served to the military officers that killed their brother and others

The family of the civilian killed in the attack was also represented at the press briefing

For them, it is injustice that their brother, Olajide Owolabi was referred to as a civilian when he had worked with the IRT team for more than two years

The Nigerian army has launched an investigation into this killing by its officers while a search is also ongoing for the alleged Kidnapper, Hamisu Balla, also Known as Wadume, who is still at large.
