Yoruba Muslim students disown Sunday Igboho. Says his action does not represent the interest of the Yoruba people

A leading Muslim group in the South-west, the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) B-Zone has dissociated itself from the action of Yoruba activist, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Igboho popularly known as Sunday Igboho.

The group, the umbrella body of all Muslim students in the region, also condemned Friday’s attack on the Fulani settlement in Igangan community by Sunday Igboho and his boys.

Expressing shock over the action of Sunday Igboho, the Muslim Students group said the action was not only mischievous but also ill timed .

The group in a statement by Qaasim B. Odedeji , Amir/Coordinator and Alh Abdul Jalil Abdur Razaq, Secretary said Igboho’s action does not represent the interest of the Yoruba people.

The statement stated that said contrary to the picture being painted by Sunday Igboho, his action had no blessings of the people from South-west extraction.
